First piece of silverware for our Mighty Blues but not without controversy in a heated and rather dramatic match. The first half was nothing but pure class however it was all in the second half (plus 13 minutes stoppage time) where the real "action" happened. Props and cheers go to Didier Drogba first for a fantastic display of athleticism and superior striking! Earlier this week, he has expressed his intent to stay with the club until he retires and I believe he will have a bright future at Chelsea!

And now, the bad news -- 7 yellow cards, 3 reds (one for our very own youngster, Jon Obi Mikel) and we have lost our skipper (yet again) after a nasty boot to his face courtesy of a Diaby clearance. Our thoughts are definitely with JT!

Come on the Blues!
