It is good to know that our own membership does not believe about all the material being written about José Mourinho's exit at the Bridge. In fact, a strong 72.7% are convinced that José will stay after this season. That's a good number compared to the 22.7% of poll voters that thought that The Special One will go but know that our club will survive despite his exit. Perhaps on a whim, a minority of 4.5% voters' sentiments were: "...goodbye; as long as he does not end up at Dirty Leeds!" Indeed, despite José clearing the air about his intentions at the Bridge in a Press Conference, the media continues to buzz about his exit. Here's to José staying the rest of his contract! Our website recently got some press, thanks to the wonderful editors of Chelsea at VitalFootball.co.uk (thanks guys!) and with it came my first boo-boo! The US Blues are an official supporters club of Chelsea FC, however, we are not the only official supporters club in the United States. Many thanks to our sister-in-arms, Beth W. of the Texas Blues for pointing that out and looking out for us. That being said, here are the other official supporters club of Chelsea FC in the USA. You can access these regional fan clubs via our Links section or by clicking directly on the titles below:
MidWest Blues Orlando Blues NY Blues Texas Blues My apologies if I left anyone out and if I did, let me know by sending me a message via email: webmaster AT us-blues DOT com) or the CIA message board's PM. If you are unsure as to which CFC supporters club you fall under, check out our Membership area for more information. Come on the Blues! Show comments (0) - Add comments to this article: |

The four-nil win against Wigan was truly the boost that our boys in Blue needed. Indeed, despite (still) missing Terry, vice-skipper Lamps stepped forward and opened the scoring -- one that would be ominous for Wigan as three more (courtesy of Robben and Drogba) would follow. Our members (and site visitors) are not too far off with their predictions, either! A strong 68.8% predicted a "Win for sure!" and a talented bunch of 31.3% (albeit, some votes were received after the match) foresaw a "A thrashing! More than a 2 goal difference!" Even with this fabulous result, most of the news media, players and fans are talking about Mourinho's possible exit this summer. It's a hot topic over at the Chelsea-In-America website, so sign up on their message boards (if you haven't) and post your thoughts here, after you have voted in our latest poll! Ok, so it's only the second week of the year but the folks over at "Chelsea in America" message boards have already begun talking about our beloved Blues summer tour! There is a strong chance that CFC will be playing Los Angeles this year, possibly against the Galaxy, amongst other teams. Join in on the discussion and keep yourself posted! You can reach the CIA message board via the links to your left or go directly to the thread if you already have a forum account. Show comments (1) - Add comments to this article: |

With our club's recent dip in form (i.e., three draws in a row including last match's goaless draw), I am sure that we are all looking forward to our (valuable) first sticksman, Petr Cech. With news that he's soon to rejoin the squad -- and not just for the training he's already been doing -- our most recent poll best indicates what we feel for his return. 50% of you thought that it was about time, however, a good 34.6% thought that "He might be rushing into recovery." and that we should Let him rest. Only 7.7% found "Cudicini, Hilario and Hedman are doing fine" and the same number of people thought that Carlo should play the rest of the season (when he's fit, of course). Whenever Petr returns for some match action, I am sure that he'll get a rousing "welcome back" reception from the fans. On the same topic of returns and injuries, it seems our skipper will play at home against Wigan (on the 13th of January), Boula will be out for a while and Coley is out as his return this season is a grim impossibility... Here's to a speedy recovery, lads! Show comments (0) - Add comments to this article: |
